Package Contents

I was surprised because the package is really very small, at first glance seems to be the packaging of a notebook 12 ". The content is as follows:

* Notebook
* 8-cell battery (4000 mAh)
* Battery Charger
* Cable modem
* Key Cover (useful when you close the notebook)
* Documentation
* Original Windows Anytime Upgrade Disc
* Manual Warranty

The first thing that leaves you amazed is the absence of any CD / DVD recovery for the system, as well as that for drivers and utilities, but it is a practice that is gaining ground, even from other notebook manufacturers.

Overall impression

The Aspire 5920 is the first of the new computer "Gemstone" Acer at home: a team of designers in the BMW has designed a house with a modern look and no edges. The quality of materials is much better than the old Aspire. The outer cover has rounded lines and gloss black with the word holographic "Acer" that enhances particularly, but at the expense of all this, I must observe that bends slightly when pressed firmly. To open the LCD panel using the hollow lifting the webcam as a kind of "handle" (remember that BMW designs cars).

The interior is light gray and has a particular line that can like it or not. Looking closely we can see an excellent build quality and precise assembly, so as not to detect strange failure of the shell around the keyboard. Whew! The speakers are integrated above the keyboard and the length in travel from left to right, while the switches of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are arranged side instead of on the front of the chassis.

Between the LCD and the power button there is a "mood", which turns blue when the notebook is plugged in and with the various LEDs media keys makes a really nice effect. The weight of 3 kg, fits perfectly in accordance with this range of notebooks. On a positive note to close the laptop, just a little pressure. A whole other world than the old Acer!
